It didn’t take long to pass through Mississippi but while at
the welcome center (the rest room was a welcome relief : - ) we saw a poster depicting
all of the Mississippi Delta Bluesmen and women from the cotton fields here.
Year’s ago, a free glass of orange juice would be waiting at
the Florida welcome center but we didn’t stop to check preferring to get to our
final road destination and by mid-afternoon we were there, Pensacola at last –
and on April Fool’s Day, as planned!
